LISTENING TO THE SILENCE

Posted on February 24, 2018 at 10:58 AM Comments comments (1)
""LISTENING TO THE SILENCE around me, I stop hearing the noise. And I discover, the silence around me, is actually the silence within me I cherish. Seek. And yearn for. [F.W.~February 24, 2018] ~

AND I AM ABLE TO HEAR through the noise, when in the silence of my soul, and there find the solace I seek. Cherish. And yearn for. [F.W. ~ February 24, 2018] ~

AND IN FINDING THE SILENCE WITHIN, I find the noise without, never existed, it was the noise within I was hearing. Now, I cherish the hearing within. [F.W. ~ February 24, 2018] ~

I FIND IN HEARING THE NOISE WITHIN, all it wanted to do was to be heard, so it could be quiet, and let me have the silence within I cherish. Seek. And yearn for. [F.W. ~ February 24, 2018]

I FIND IN THE SILENCE, I do not cherish-seek-or yearn, I just am. [F.W. ~ February 24, 2018] ""

~ GURU & TREASURE AT THE END OF THE RAINBOW ~

Posted on May 11, 2016 at 2:11 PM Comments comments (134)
~~ Went looking for the treasure at the end of the rainbow ~~ Bumped into the Guru. Wondered if he was looking for the treasure too ~~ Asked, "You looking for the treasure at the end of the rainbow too, Guru? ~~ The Guru answered, burped & belched a gold coin, "No treasure at the end of the rainbow. The rainbow 'is' the treasure" ~~

:) WENT TO THE GURU :) "LIVE IN THE pRESENT"

Went to the Guru ~ Said I wanted to live in the present ~ He handed me a box, coloured fancy paper & ribbon. ~ Then the Guru said, "Hop in. Wrap yourself up!" ~ "What??!!??" I said ~ "Be the present," the Guru said ~

"TEA-HEE," THE GURU SAID

~ ~ Asked the Guru, "What is inner peace?" ~ Guru answered,"Wherever you find it." ~ "That's where," I said. ~ The Guru said, "...'What'... is irrelevant if you don't know the where. Find the where and you'll have the what." ~ "Still don't know," I said. ~ "Find the where," the Guru said, "and then you'll know." ~ Went looking for the where and found 'what' and shouted, "This is it! Eureka!" ~ Guru said, "No 'it' isn't. It is 'what'. What can't be 'it'. Too many letters in what, anyway. And different ones than in 'it'. Or too few in 'it'. And still different except for the 't'. At least 'what' and it have 't'." ~ "Confusing," I said. ~ "That's what or the 'it' Confuse, I mean Confucius thought. Named himself after 'it'. ~ "So they both have 't', the it and the what," I said. ~ "Precisely," the Guru said, adding, "Tea?" ~ "Do you mean 't' or 'Tea'," I said. ~ "All the same to me," the Guru said. ~ "Me too," I said. ~ "Now we are getting some 'where'," the Guru said, pouring me a cup, half full. ~ "The where?" I asked, we are getting to the where?" I asked. ~ "Precisely," the Guru said, "You will find 'the where' in the knowing 't' and 'tea' are all the same in the end. It's how you drink 'it' that counts." ~ "You can't drink a 't', " I said. ~ "Tea-hee," the Guru said and giggled and jiggled.

FORK IN THE ROAD

~~ Came to a fork in the road. Already eaten, so picked it up and pocketed it. Ate again, later. Forgot about the fork in pocket and used a spoon on the table. The one the waitress brought. The spoon, not the table. The table was already there. Then figured, if you come to a fork in the road, best to use the spoon. Especially, if you are about to have soup. ~~

ANOTHER CONVERSATION with the GURU about THE MEANING of LIFE ~ "LIFE IS AN OHMlette!"

Posted on April 21, 2016 at 8:42 AM Comments comments (114)
Spoke with the Guru. Asked, "What is the meaning of life?"~ Guru said, "There isn't one?" ~ "What do you mean?" I said. ~ "It's that half-empty-half full-cup-thing," the Guru said. ~ "Or somewhere in between," I said. ~ "Or somewhere in between," the Guru said. "it just is." ~ "It just is," I said. ~ "Now you're getting it," the Guru said. ~ "Am I half full or half-empty?" I asked. ~ "Somewhere in between," the Guru said, chuckling, burped and said."You haven't eaten yet today. But I have," he burped somewhere in between syllables " ~ "Can't you be more precise?" I asked, trying to avoid his burp-smell and digest his thoughts at the same time, being somewhere in between, trying to get his thinking or whatever it was he was doing while guru-ing, burping in between this, his guru thing. ~ Guru said, "Half-empty half-full... Depends which end you're looking at it from. Whether you're emptying or fulling, I mean filling. Or neither. Or remaining the same like somewhere in between." He burped big. I ducked. Smelled omlette.I mean OHMlette. ~ Didn't want to get egg on my face so I said. "It just is.." ~ And the Guru smiled, rubbed his tummy, "Like a good OHMlette," he said. Then he got precisely precise for once and said "Precisely." ~ I wiped my lip. Cheek. And... ~ "Egg on your face," the Guru said. ~ "Somewhere in between," I said, and shuffled away to the sound of eggs beating in a bowl of cherries with their pits still intact, and the bowl wondering if it was half full, half empty or somewhere in between.~ "Well, that beats all," the Guru muttered unplugging his mixer, then cheered up saying. "OHMlette anyone ?"
