~ Listening is a skill ~ Although some seem to be born with it ~ Those who 'hear' well ~ Know more in the moment of sound ~ Than any in the un-round-sound of cacophony manifesting disarray wherever it is heard ~ May the round sound of true listening bless your day ~ And show you the way ~ Slay your dragons ~ But ensure they are yours and not somebody else's in the slaying ~ True listening requires that recognition of the 'noise' or 'sound' or 'true music' makers around you ~ Sometimes in the 'hearing' of true sound we hear angels sing ~ FW -March 1-2016

Takes a lot out of you... Doing' the doin' of of art 'n artistry... And following one's muse... And learning to protect and listen to that muse... Can be and get exhausting... At times... Unless we learn to rest... In the act of the doing... In the flow of the river... Our river...

 Got a commission from a gal pal to write a one chord love. She said, "Take a few days to figure out where the changes are." Couldn't find any. Wrote her back saying, "No changes in a one chord love song."  "Precisely," she said.

Got a commission to write a one word story. Every time I wrote 'The End' they said it was too long. Asked if they wanted two one word stories. They said sure. Sent them one 'The' and another 'End'. They said perfect and bought both. Can't wait for publication.
