"TEA-HEE," THE GURU SAID

Posted on April 21, 2016 at 9:37 AM
~ ~ Asked the Guru, "What is inner peace?" ~ Guru answered,"Wherever you find it." ~ "That's where," I said. ~ The Guru said, "...'What'... is irrelevant if you don't know the where. Find the where and you'll have the what." ~ "Still don't know," I said. ~ "Find the where," the Guru said, "and then you'll know." ~ Went looking for the where and found 'what' and shouted, "This is it! Eureka!" ~ Guru said, "No 'it' isn't. It is 'what'. What can't be 'it'. Too many letters in what, anyway. And different ones than in 'it'. Or too few in 'it'. And still different except for the 't'. At least 'what' and it have 't'." ~ "Confusing," I said. ~ "That's what or the 'it' Confuse, I mean Confucius thought. Named himself after 'it'. ~ "So they both have 't', the it and the what," I said. ~ "Precisely," the Guru said, adding, "Tea?" ~ "Do you mean 't' or 'Tea'," I said. ~ "All the same to me," the Guru said. ~ "Me too," I said. ~ "Now we are getting some 'where'," the Guru said, pouring me a cup, half full. ~ "The where?" I asked, we are getting to the where?" I asked. ~ "Precisely," the Guru said, "You will find 'the where' in the knowing 't' and 'tea' are all the same in the end. It's how you drink 'it' that counts." ~ "You can't drink a 't', " I said. ~ "Tea-hee," the Guru said and giggled and jiggled.
